The Gap

Families in crisis often feel the gap between what they need and what is available to them. Bridge the Gap partners with individuals, organizations and churches in our community to help connect those families with the resources they need.

From “Not Enough” to “More Than Enough”

Too often, the foster care system in Northern Colorado is overwhelmed, leaving children and families without the resources they need to thrive. Words like “not enough” echo through the system—not enough foster families, not enough support, not enough hope.

This gap creates challenges for children who deserve stability, families who need guidance, and communities longing to make a difference. The lack of resources can make “more than enough” feel out of reach.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Together, we can bridge the gap, ensuring every child and family impacted by foster care has the love, support, and opportunities they deserve.

At Bridge the Gap, we believe that every child and family impacted by foster care deserves access to the resources, support, and love they need to thrive. By bringing together individuals, churches, and organizations in Northern Colorado, we’re creating a network that bridges the biggest gaps in foster care.

Through education, community support, and advocacy, we empower families and caregivers to navigate the challenges of foster care with hope. Together, we are building a future where no child faces the child welfare system alone and every family feels equipped and supported.

With the strength of a united community, we can ensure “more than enough” for every child and family, before, during, and beyond foster care.

Bridge the Gap exists because of a deep passion for fostering hope and connection in our community. Inspired by personal experience, we aim to link families with vital resources and ensure no child in our region is left without care.

Connect

The Regional Alliance hosts Roundtable Conversations every quarter with the desire to link arms with our community as we support kids and families in Northern Colorado. Come connect at the Roundtable as we navigate how to bridge the gap between what we know God desires for every child and family and the challenges that prevent them from getting it. We can’t guarantee an easy answer but we guarantee we’ll go at it together!

Engage

Each month, we gather together as individuals and organizational or ministry representatives to encourage, support and collaborate to better serve families impacted by the child welfare system. Whether you’re a foster parent wanting to serve the community or a representative of an organization looking to connect to more resources for your families, we want to connect with you.

Serve

We are all called to serve the vulnerable but we are not all called in the same way! Bridge the Gap is a place to bring your unique gifts to the community and allow others to strengthen your areas of weakness. However God has called you to serve, we want to link arms with you to reach more than enough in our community.
